The town of Tramore is the south east coast's leading tourist resort, and is home to 5 km of golden sandy beach, framed by the beauty of the Atlantic Ocean. Popular with both tourists and locals alike, Tramore has an activity to suit every taste, so you'll be spoilt for choice in this lovely town. The beach plays host some of the best sea fishing in the county, as well as great surfing and water sports. For rainy days, Splashworld indoor water park is great for children of all ages. A little further afield, a visit to the House of Waterford Crystal is a must and can be combined with a visit to the historical Reginald's Tower, the Waterford Museum of Treasures, or for those feeling more energetic, a guided walking tour of Waterford City. Walkers can delight in the nearby Comeragh Mountains, with walks and hikes for all abilities.
