A delightful 19th century Irish thatched cottage in a rural location. Situated just five miles from the town of Lismore in County Waterford, Mick Moore's Cottage is a stone built traditional cottage, surrounded by farmland. This single storey cottage is split with the living quarters and main bedroom in the thatched cottage building and the sleeping quarters in a separate barn conversion building across the courtyard. The property can sleep up to 8 people and has three bedrooms, consisting of two double bedrooms and a double futon bed, plus an additional sofa bed in the sitting room, it also has two family bathrooms. The cottage also has a well-equipped kitchen with adjoining dining area, a woodburner and Belfast sink and a cosy sitting room with a welcoming woodburner. A large garden and patio area furnished with seating provides plenty of play space for children and an excellent place for adults to relax and unwind. There is dedicated off-road parking for up to 4 cars. With its tranquil location, Mick Moore's Cottage is a perfect holiday haven for a peaceful retreat, with all the entertainments of South Ireland to see and do nearby.

The cottage has efficient gas central heating (in barn conversion and thatched cottage) with additional heating from woodburners in sitting room and kitchen. Electric oven, hob and grill, microwave, fridge. Freezer and washing machine in utility area. TV with Freeview, DVD, radio, iPod dock. Library of books, games and DVDs. Gas and electricity charged via meter reading (first €20 inc. in rent). Starter packs for woodburners included in the rent. Bed linen is included in the rent. There is private parking space for 4 cars. Large garden and patio area with furniture and folding canvas-slung chairs (can be used inside and outside the property). Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop, pub and petrol station 1 mile. Please Note: Private water supply. The town of Lismore in County Waterford boasts a castle and 17th century cathedral, along with shops and pubs, plus a golf course and equestrian centre are nearby. Beaches, bays and cliff tops can be explored at Youghall and Dungarvan, and the city of Waterford has many shops, pubs, restaurants and a world famous crystal factory.
