An Irish cottage set amongst beautiful countryside and close to the famous Ring of Kerry. Located near to Cahersiveen in County Kerry, The Old House is a traditional, detached cottage that has been lovingly restored. The property sleeps up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms: a double, a twin and a double with en-suite shower room, as well as a first floor bathroom and an additional basin and WC on the ground floor. The house also includes a kitchen incorporating a dining area and sitting area with a wood burner, and a separate sitting room furnished with an open fire and a piano. The lawned garden is supplied with furniture, a BBQ, a double swing and see-saw and has a small, fenced, stream running through it. There is off road parking for up to 4 cars. There are great beaches, wonderful hill walking and many historic sites in the immediate area ensuring that The Old House is an excellent place to base yourself while discovering the glories of Kerry.

The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, large fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, 3 x colour TVs, video/DVD, CD/radio, selection of books. €30 fuel/electricity supplement payable to owner, starter pack for open fire and woodburner included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Cot, highchair and stairgate on request. There is private parking space for 4 cars. Lawned garden with furniture, barbecue, double swing and see-saw. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 1.5 miles, pub 4.5 miles. Please Note: Small stream onsite - although fenced, please ensure children are supervised at all times. Please Note: Owner can take guests on a farm walk around their 30 acre smallholding by arrangement. County Kerry is a mystical and unspoilt part of Ireland, with spectacular natural beauty and a fascinating history. Facing the Atlantic Ocean, it features many sandy beaches, rocky inlets and stunning peninsulas.

The coastal town of Cahersiveen sits at the foot of the Beentee Mountain in County Kerry and is home to an excellent harbour and a superb marina offering sailing, fishing and deep-sea angling opportunities. Cahersiveen provides a mix of traditional pubs and modern venues, together with a range of cafés, restaurants and antique shops. See the Kerry Way or cross by ferry to Valentia Island.
