A charming Irish country cottage in wonderful County Galway. Situated two miles from the village of Kilcolgan and seven miles from Oranmore, Roveagh House is a detached thatched cottage. The property is suitable for up to 6 people and has 3 bedrooms: one ground floor single, one double and one family room with a double bed and single bed, as well as a family bathroom and a further ground floor family shower room. The cottage is further comprised of a well-appointed fitted kitchen with a dining area, a sun room with a wood burning stove and a cosy sitting room also with a wood burner. The lovely, well-established garden includes a lawn and small pond and has a decked area provided with furniture and a BBQ.
- There is off road parking for 3 cars.
The nearby beaches offer opportunities for sunbathing and swimming, while the cultural centre of Galway City is within easy driving distance. Roveagh is ideal for a traditional Irish holiday within this wonderful area.

The cottage is heated using oil fired central heating with additional heating from woodburners in sitting room and sun room. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer. TV, DVD. All fuel and power included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. There is private parking space for 3 cars. Lawned garden with pond, furniture and barbecue. Decked area with furniture. One well behaved dog is most welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 1.5 miles. Please Note: All children and pets to be well supervised due to unfenced pond. Please Note: The owner’s artist studio is next to this Galway cottage, and will provide painting classes at an additional charge. Contact the owner for further information. Please Note: 28th July - 4th Aug 2012 charged at £944 (inclusive of £35 booking fee) due to Galway Races. Towering cliffs stand next to vast stretches of golden sand, whilst vast mountain ranges cradle cool, low-lying lakes. The Galway region epitomises the term ‘great outdoors’; with fantastic walking and cycling and exhilarating water sports.
