An Irish country cottage that’s sure to appeal. Tigh Mhicil Thomais is a delightful detached cottage set in the townland of Gowla, 7 miles from Carna in County Galway. The property sleeps up to 6 people and has 3 bedrooms consisting of one ground floor double room with an en-suite shower, one ground floor double with a basin and one twin room as well as a ground floor family shower. The living accommodation also includes a fitted kitchen, a dining room and a sitting room with an open fire. The enclosed rear patio garden is provided with furniture and a BBQ, perfect for some al fresco dining. Off road parking is available for several cars. There’s excellent walking and cycling in the area and opportunities for fishing, horse riding and golf. Tigh Mhicil Thomais is perfect for family groups and friends looking to experience rural Ireland.

- Oil included in the rent April – September inclusive, €20 supplement payable to owner October – March inclusive.

The small village of Carna is set in the scenic region of Connemara within County Galway. The area boasts good fishing on Lough Mask and Lough Corrib, and the Connemara National Park, home to the famous Connemara Pony and Kylemore Abbey are both within easy reach. Carna is the perfect base for exploring the area.
