Self catering country cottages in Dublin City, Ireland
Dublin being a city break destination, is not a traditional hotspot for country cottage breaks. Taking a self catering break in Dublin though may be a good option as it offers you the flexibility that is sometimes hard to find with a conventional hotel stay.

Dublin is a city with a distinctly European feel. There are many bars, restaurants and pubs to enjoy, many with outdoor seating areas, and a number of galleries and museums. Dublin is also home to the famous Guinness visitor centre. There are great shopping opportunities in Dublin and some impressive Georgian architecture. What’s more, by and large, the Irish are a friendly bunch and you should find Dublin a warm and friendly city compared to many of its European counterparts. If you like to visit the city but don’t want to stay in the city, why not find a self catering cottage near Dublin so you can visit for day trips and then head off back to the more relaxed countryside?
