An Irish country cottage in a peaceful situation close to the coast. Located on the edge of Dromore in County Cork, O’Brien’s Cottage is a detached stone cottage that’s just 5 miles from the seaside town of Bantry . This property sleeps up to 4 people and has 2 bedrooms: a double room, and a twin room (which can be offered as a second double upon request. as well as a bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. The cottage also includes a character filled kitchen and sitting room, both of which retain open beamed ceilings. A wood burning stove provides extra warmth in the sitting room. The large garden includes a patio area and lawn and is great for relaxation or games. There is off road parking for up to 4 cars. The delights of Bantry are just on hand and there is great walking and cycling on the Beara and Sheep’s Head Peninsulas. The area is also rich with opportunities for engaging in golfing, angling, windsurfing and riding. O’Brien’s Cottage makes an ideal base for a holiday with your family or friends.

Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. There is private parking space for 4 cars. Large patio and garden with furniture. Bike storage. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 5 miles. Pub with restaurant 1.5 miles. Please Note: Gates must be kept closed at all times due to cattle walking up the lane. County Cork is full of truly breathtaking natural beauty. With unspoilt beaches, historic castles, and modern visitor attractions, there’s plenty for all ages to absorb and there is always plenty to see and do in County Cork.

Located in West Cork between Sheep's Head and the Beara Peninsula, Bantry has incredible sea views and colourful buildings, as well as the beautiful 'Bantry House', which is located in an elevated spot above the town. This fascinating property has beautiful gardens that are open to the public, and is the home of a plentiful collection of tapestries, furniture and art. Garinish Island, just a short boat ride away, was turned into an exotic garden in the early 20th Century and today offers a variety of interesting plant species. Golf, sailing, scuba diving, walking and cycling opportunities abound nearby for outdoors enthusiasts.
