Situated on the west coast of County Clare, Spanish Point takes its name from the Spaniards who died there in 1588, when the Armada was wrecked during a storm. Today, the village is home to a lovely beach and a nine-hole golf course. Miltown Malbay is close by or visit the Cliffs of Moher and the town of Ennis.
