Waddleduck Cottage is a mid-terrace mews style cottage set above the River Esk, only one mile from the seaside resort of Whitby. The accommodation at Waddleduck comprises an open-plan living area with fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting area, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a single bedroom with an additional fold out bed, a family bathroom and separate WC. Waddleduck sleeps six people in light airy, comfortable, modern self catering accommodation. To the rear of the cottage there is a decked patio area with furniture and communal lawn area where you can enjoy sitting out and looking out towards beautiful countryside. Keen wildlife watchers will want to take a walk down to the river and look out for seals and kingfishers which have been spotted there. Waddleduck cottage is a good base for families or friends looking to stay somewhere close to the coast and Whitby and also for those looking to visit the North York Moors national park.

This holiday cottage has efficient gas central heating. The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher. TV with Freeview, DVD, CD/radio. All fuel and power included in the rent. Bed linen is included in the rent. Child friendly cottage, travel cot and highchair provided. There is private parking space for one car plus guest parking. Rear decked patio with furniture. Communal lawned area. One well behaved dog is most welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 10 minutes' walk, pub 1 mile. The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
