Small rear courtyard area with furniture. Sorry, no smoking. One well behaved pet welcome. Shops and pubs 3 minutes' walk. From heather-clad moors and limestone scars, to market towns and the steady pace of country life - the sublime Dales await you! The lovely town of Skipton is often referred to as "The Gateway to the Dales". Close by is the cathedral city of York, the Lake District and the West Coast, making this an incredibly central location. Skipton itself is an old market town and still continues the tradition to this day. It also boasts an ancient castle open to the public and a beautiful old parish church. With regular steam train excursions running at the weekend, visitors can enjoy a trip on the Embsay Steam Railway – just one mile away - or experience a canal trip on a traditional barge. There are also facilities for golf, swimming, squash, tennis and snooker.
