York Cottage - Runswick Bay, Yorkshire, England

The inside of the cottage has been designed to a high standard, with a mix of seaside influences with quintessential English cottage style. Whitewashed walls and mirrors reflect the seaside light through the cottage whilst pretty English floral fabrics and a collection of blue and white crockery blend with clean lines of the New England style kitchen and furnishings. Beautiful, white, Egyptian Cotton bedlinen is used to allow a luxurious and relaxing night's sleep.

On the ground floor there is a combined sitting room and kitchen with a bay window where you can glimpse the sea from the window seat. The new kitchen is fully equipped. A staircase leads to the recently refurbished shower room with loo and wash basin. Luxury Egyptian bath linen is provided. Also on this floor is a cosy single bedroom to the rear of the cottage which looks onto the path one tier up from the front door. To the front is a pretty double bedroom. Looking along the row from this room provides a view of the sea. Further stairs lead to a large attic room with dormer window, where there is a bird’s eye view over the rooftops. There is a double and a single bed in this room and a folding bed is available if needed.
