Granary Cottage:- comprises the end of a 100 year old stables and Granary, set in the peaceful countryside just one and a half miles from the village of Snainton, with good views to the North York Moors. Snainton offers a pub/ restaurant, local shop/garage, sportsfield with childrens play area.  Farm holidays at Granary cottage are ideally placed for walking,cycling and horse riding activities with Dalby forest and the Moors a short drive away. It is an excellent touring base with the beaches at Scarborough, Whitby and Filey. The market towns of Pickering Malton and Helmsley, the historic city of York and "Heartbeat country" all within easy reach.

The accomodation:- is one one level, with two steps up into the spacious kitchen / diner with Belfast sink. The Bright lounge has an Open fire with brick fireplace and deep set cottage windows. French doors open onto a Yorkstone patio area. There are two, Ground floor bedrooms , one with double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers and one with two single beds and wardrobe with shelves. Also a Down stairs bathroom with bath plus electric shower over, Wash-hand-basin, toilet and shaver point.

Non smokers only please.  Toddlers & Children welcome and one well behaved pet.

Services:- Fridge- freezer, Electric hob with oven and grill, microwave. Flat screen digital colour TV, DVD player and Radio-CD player. Oil fired central heating- No extra charges for fuel or electricity. Bed linen and towels provided. A travel cot is available on request.  Washing facilities on site, please ask. A welcome pack is set for your arrival + an initial supply of coal.

Outside there is a York stone patio area with garden furniture, Barbecue and the use of a large grassy garden. Private drive and parking for two cars , ensures your stay is complete.
