A family cottage in a peaceful rural location. Located in the hamlet of Bessingby, close to the seaside resort of Bridlington. Waggoner's Cottage is a very welcoming single storey property one of a small group converted from an old granary. The cottage sleeps up to 4 people and has 2 bedrooms: a double and a twin room, as well as a family bathroom. The open-plan living area includes a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with an electric fire.
- There is a private garden area provided with outdoor furniture and a BBQ, and guests also benefit from shared use of a large communal lawned play area that is ideal for family ball games.
- There is dedicated off road parking for 2 cars.
The gentle rolling countryside of the Yorkshire Wolds is all around to explore on foot or by bicycle, while the coast is only a short drive away. The seaside towns of Bridlington and Filey offer brilliant sandy beaches and the Bempton bird sanctuary is a wildlife watcher’s delight with spectacular bird colonies. There are many historic houses in the area, and the North York Moors National Park is a little to the north. This is an ideal base for families or couples at any time of year.

The cottage has efficient gas central heating, supplemental heating from an electric fire in sitting area. Kitchen with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine. TV with Freeview, DVD, radio/CD. All fuel and power included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Travel cot and high chair on request. There is private parking space for 2 cars. Private garden area with furniture and barbecue. Large communal lawned play area for games. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 1 mile. Pub 1.5 miles. The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

The seaside resort of Bridlington has beaches on either side of the harbour and promenades where you can sit and watch the world go by. Bridlington also has a range of shops, pubs and restaurants whilst the Bridlington Spa Theatre provides evening entertainment.
