On the southern edge of the Cotswold Hills this country cottage is a lovely romantic retreat. Located in the village of Charlton near the ancient town of Malmesbury in Wiltshire, Cow Byre Cottage is a single storey cottage in the grounds of the owner's farmhouse. The property sleeps two people in comfort and has one king-size double bedroom, and a bathroom with a small bath and shower over. There’s also a fitted kitchen and a comfortable sitting room with a dining table. A shared lawned garden is supplied with furniture and is ideal for relaxation. There is off road parking for 2 cars. There are many interesting locations within reach of a short drive including Malmesbury Abbey, the Cotswold Water Park, the gardens of Westonbirt Arboretum, the National Trust village of Lacock and the historic city of Bath.

Four miles from the historic town of Malmesbury, the North Wiltshire village of Charlton is well known for its 12th Century Benedictine abbey ruins.
