A great rural retreat for a romantic break. Located in the village of Button Bridge, close to Cleobury Mortimer in Shropshire, The Old Farmhouse Cottage is a delightful one-storey cottage attached to the owner’s home. The property sleeps up to 4 people in comfort with a super king-size double bedroom, as well as a family shower room.
The cottage also includes a fitted kitchen and a sitting room incorporating a dining area and a double sofa bed. The private patio area is provided with outdoor furniture and guests benefit from shared use of the owner’s outdoor heated swimming pool (between May and September), their large mature garden and a small fishing lake. There is off road parking for two cars. There are several great walks and cycle rides available from the cottage.
A short drive will take you to the towns of Cleobury Mortimer or Bridgnorth. The medieval town of Ludlow with its great restaurants and food shops is also within easy reach. History buffs will also want to visit the Ironbridge Gorge Museum and Stokesay Castle. The Old Farmhouse Cottage a superb holiday base for a couple or a small family.

This self catering cottage has full oil central heating throughout, additional heating from log-effect fan heater in sitting room. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, washing machine. TV with Freeview, small library of books and games. All fuel and power included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Patio area with furniture.
Shared use of the owner’s outdoor heated swimming pool May - September, large mature garden and small fishing lake.
There is private parking space for 2 cars. Cycle storage available. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 4 miles, pub 7 minutes' walk.

Button Bridge is a small village set close to Bewdley and Cleobury Mortimer in Shropshire. The market town of Bridgnorth is close by, as is the town of Ludlow, both of which are well worth exploring. Other attractions in the area include the Ironbridge Gorge Museum, Stokesay Castle and the West Midland Safari Park.
