Romantic Self Catering Apartment Near Stratford Upon Avon:
Cherry Blossom is a romantic, self contained apartment for two. Outside, the apartment is surrounded by gardens, a large pond (with its own resident ducks and frogs), wild flower meadow, orchard, woodland and a tennis court. The apartment is extremely comfortable and comprises of an entrance hall, open plan lounge with fireplace and patio doors, dining room and a traditional kitchen. The ensuite double bedroom has beautiful traditional open beams and quality pine furniture with a very comfortable king size bed and its luxury Sheridan bed linen and cottage style Laura Ashley curtains. Full length patio doors lead into the garden with views over the Cotswolds and the Malverns.
A delicious cream tea awaits you on your arrival. It is less than a 15 minute drive from this tranquil part of Warwickshire in to the fascinating historic city of Stratford upon Avon. Similarly there are a number of charming places in the Cotswolds to visit which are also easily accessible by car from here. Warwick with its historical castle is also just 16 miles away.

Only a short stroll away lies the village of Welford on Avon with its impressive Maypole, general store, excellent butchers, garage, three public houses and a golf course (10 min walk) . The cultural centre of Stratford-upon-Avon which is just a short drive away has a fine range of restaurants, shops, leisure facilities and is the home of the world famous Royal Shakespeare Company. Cotswold View is an ideal base to explore the wealth of the Shakespeare’s country with its many beautiful National Trust properties, Warwick Castle – Britain’s ultimate castle, Ragley Hall, Coughton Court or Heritage Motor Centre in Gaydon – the world’s largest collection of British cars, to name just a few.
The apartment is ideally based not only for the walkers but also the cycling enthusiasts, offering an easy access to the Stratford Greenway - a high quality surfaced path for walkers and cyclists (a cycle hire shop is situated at the start of the route to Stratford or you could simply have them delivered to you). At the end of the Greenway there is a number of cycling routes which also have some great pubs to stop by for a short rest or a tasty lunch. This is a lovely apartment for a romantic break.

Welford –on-Avon is a pretty, picture postcard village, situated only about four miles from Stratford on Avon and providing an easy access for exploring the beauty of Cotswold. The centre of the village has a number of beautiful thatched houses, and the proximity of the river Avon offers many scenic, walking routes for those who wish to explore the area. The village has three pubs, a garage, two Churches, two shops, a children’s play area, bowls club and a golf course. It also has an impressive 65ft high maypole which is one of the tallest in the country.
