Set in 2 acres of beautiful gardens, Thatched Farm is 5 minutes from both Woodbridge and Waldringfield. Surrounded by open countryside, winding lanes, woods and footpaths it is an ideal rural retreat. Perfect for relaxing or as a base for walking, cycling, bird watching or exploring the many pretty towns and attractions of the Suffolk Heritage Coast. We are 5 mins from Waldringfield golf course and the River Deben - perfect for sailing. Shops are nearby as are at least 5 pubs all good for dining. 2 pretty cottages set in the grounds of Thatched Farm - Daffodil Cottage sleeps 3/4 and Bluebell Studio sleeps 2.

Daffodil Cottage - a former farm building which has been recently renovated whilst retaining loads of charm and character. Downstairs are the newly fitted kitchen with all amenities , the shower room and the sitting/dining room. Upstairs is a double mezzanine bedroom and also a single mezzanine bedroom. There are steep stairs to the single so unsuitable for those with walking difficulties or children under 8. A laundry room is on site for both cottages plus ample parking. Free wireless internet access in both cottages. Both cottages have their own garden table and chairs plus there is plenty of other garden furniture so you can wander and enjoy the beautiful gardens.

Bluebell Studio is next door to Daffodil. It is all ground floor with a newly fitted kitchen and shower room. A bed/sitting room has french windows looking out over the garden. It is small but very cute and ideal for couples.

Seaside towns of Aldeburgh and Southwold, Market town of Woodbridge with ancient Sutton Hoo nearby. Snape maltings with its concert hall and June festival. Minsmere and Orford nature reserves for bird watching. Pin Mill Harbour, Ipswich Marina, Woodbridge and Waldringfield if you like to be near the River. Many Castles and Country houses and gardens to visit such as Framlingham. Constable country at Flatford Mill. Many other picturesque towns of Suffolk such as Lavenham and Bury St Edmunds.
