Shadingfield Hall Lodge is a Suffolk rural country cottage with an idyllic, private countryside location, adjacent to the Regency Shadingfield Hall, down a long drive just 8 miles from Southwold on the Suffolk coast. This cottage is an excellent option when it comes to getting away from it all, just as a Prime Minister did during his 2008 summer holiday!

This rural retreat has been renovated and offers high quality self catering accommodation.  The interior of the cottage is boutique hotel style and the owners worked with a top interior designer to create the beautiful interior design. This cottage is all on one level.  The stylish accommodation includes a large lounge with views of the duck pond (perfect for relaxing), a kitchen diner, two comfortable double bedrooms and a large luxurious bathroom which has a large shower and a roll top bath. Outside the cottage there is a lovely secluded courtyard garden with duck pond where you can enjoy sitting out in good weather. 

This cottage enjoys a central position within the Sotterly Estateand there are lots of attractive walks in this beautiful country spot.   Enjoy the peace and solitude of the Suffolk countryside.  A mile from the cottage there is the relaxed country inn, Shadingfield Fox Pub which does good pub food.  There is a private drive with ample parking.
