The Yare Houseboat - Pinmill, Suffolk, England

In the lounge there are 2 sofas and a 32 inch flat screen TV and dvd player. Relax and enjoy the river views from the lounge. In the kitchen diner there is an electric hob ring and oven, fridge, microwave and dining area with river views. Sleeping accommodation is in 2 bedrooms, one of which has a king size bed and one with bunk beds. In addition there is a luxurious shower room. Heating is provided by oil central heating. This top quality houseboat is in a secluded location and offers an excellent standard of self catering accommodation and is well placed for exploring Suffolk. It is hard to find river views better than this. There is a good pub near by and walking paths for those who enjoy walking. To get your break off to a great start you will find a welcome bottle of wine and biscuits on arrival. A parking space is available for guests nearby. Please note that this houseboat is on the river and although there are railings, as the deck of the boat is elevated, it may not be suitable for young children. The route to the houseboat goes over a shallow stream and there is a short boardwalk but no rails so care should be taken. One well behaved dog is welcome by prior arrangement.

This unique holiday houseboat is located at Pin Mill on the River Orwell, close to the Butt and Oyster, a 17th century pub frequented over the years by smugglers, fishermen and more recently walkers and bird watchers. Suffolk is a haven for foodies, who will enjoy visiting Jimmy's Farm and the Suffolk Food Hall, both nearby with Suffolk's county town of Ipswich a little beyond, with access to the Suffolk Heritage Coast, including the famous sea side resorts of Aldeburgh and Southwold beyond.
