Suffolk pink Edwardian cottage in rural setting, close to the coast, with an acre of ground - and trampoline. There is also a gas barbecue for relaxed cooking and eating in the garden.

The cottage sleeps six in two double and one twin bedroom. Well equipped kitchen and diner with two reception rooms. Ideal for families of all ages, any time of the year, lots of space for children to play or to find a quiet corner in the garden to relax and read.

The cottage is 20 miles away from Ipswich, just outside the pretty village of Middleton, in a peaceful country lane just 10 minutes east of the A12, and only 4 miles from the coast. It is close to both Aldeburgh with its nature reserve and Southwold seaside resort for days on the beach.

Suffolk is a historic county, famous for its market towns and ancient churches and you will be spoilt for choice with Theberton, Blythburgh, Wenhaston pretty much on the doorstep. There are lots of antique shops to browse in, tea shops to rest in and good restaurants for special dinners. Good beaches for swimming and walks are at nearby Thorpeness and Walberswick. Our lovely pink cottage is an excellent base for visits to the Suffolk heritage coast and its heathlands. The following towns are all within easy reach by car and some by bicycle if you're a good cyclist. Dunwich - 4 miles, Minsmere - 4 miles, Aldeburgh - 8 miles, Walberswick - 7 miles, Thorpeness - 4 miles, Southwold - 9 miles, Snape - 7 miles and Orford - 10 miles. To the West you can explore the market towns of Framlingham, Bungay and Beccles.

Travel: Darsham

Good places to visit: Explore anywhere in East Anglia - all places are possible for day trips, including Norwich, Thetford Forest, the north Norfolk Coast, Roman Colchester, Cambridge.

Annual Events: English Heritage castles for visits and historical reinactments can be found at Framlingham and Orford. These have annual programmes of events. There are also numerous antique fairs in Suffolk. Details available locally. Suffolk annual events include the Suffolk Show for the farming community, Crab fishing championships at Walberswick, Suffolk Churches cycle ride, the Westleton Barrel Fayre and Aldburgh festival, plus various local village summer fetes, art exhibitions and concerts.
