The listed grade II 16th century Cartlodge provides comfortable 21st century accommodation for 4 guests (+2 sofa beds), tucked away down a long farm track, surrounded by wildflower meadows and ponds. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a huge, sunny, well-equipped kitchen, cosy sitting room, and a big lobby for muddy boots.  Overflow for 18 guests in adjoining Tudor barn.

The Cartlodge  - Lavenham,

You can play tennis/table tennis, walk on our peaceful, environmentally-friendly farm or circular routes beyond, bird-watch, read, paint, pond dip, hug trees and relax. Barbecue in the herb garden, play croquet or borrow our bikes and explore the local countryside, villages and nature reserves using our planned routes.

The Cartlodge sleeps 4 (+ 2 on sofa beds or in cots) midweek only. You could add to your group and sleep another 18 guests in the adjacent ancient Tudor barn (never let without the Cartlodge, but booked out at weekends to very large groups).
