Mill Cottage is in a lovely little ‘Back to the Good Life’ setting in a remote small-holding in its own valley – all very eco-friendly. Sleeps 2. Guests can also go 'Wild Swimming' in the half-acre spring-fed Mill Pond adjacent to the cottage. The owners also run eco and craft courses.

Mill Cottage is in a lovely little ‘Back to the Good Life’ setting in a remote small-holding in its own valley – all very eco. The owners also run eco and craft courses.

Mill Cottage is a lovely airy, historic barn conversion and overlooks the Mill Pond. This is a special place for those who want to be away from traffic and enjoy the beauty of spending time by yourselves, amongst 4 nature reserves.

The BIG Mill Wheel will be re-instated shortly and help generate electricity for the cottage which overlooks the Mill Pond. Bantams cluck around the courtyard the Nature Reserves. There is also 70 acres of the owner’s organic farmland to walk on or around. The cottage has one double bedroom and a sunny living room with wood-burning stove and views over the Mill Pond. This cottage is great for those who are keen walkers as it has 90 acres and backs onto a nature reserve. Pets are welcome; 1 medium size or 2 small dogs.

Wild-swimming in the half-acre spring fed Mill Pond right outside your doorstep ! Small rowing boat and coracle to have fun with Barn Owl Tower- for all the wildlife watchers among you ! situated in a small meadow by the stream, near to a fenced woodland where doggies can roam free.

Travel: Colchester or Sudbury bus/train station - Stansted airport

Good places to visit: Southwold and Woodbridge on the Suffolk Coast. Kentwell Hall in Long Melford – great Tudor re-creations and wonderful gardens. Long Melford – great for those antique hunters !
