Foxglove Cottage - Fressingfield, Suffolk, England

Foxglove Cottage is a delightful place to stay. Originating from the 16th century and brimming with character. The cottage has a comfortable beamed sitting room with an inglenook fireplace which has a wood burning stove to provide plenty of warmth and a cosy atmosphere. Electric storage heater in the sitting room and electric heating is provided throughout the cottage. A comfortable leather sofa and easy chairs, plenty of books, T.V, DVD, freeview, video, stereo all there for your enjoyment.

Next to the sitting room is the kitchen/dining room which has all modern facilities. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine. Dining area has attractive pine furniture with seating for 4 people.

The bathroom is on the ground floor and is equipped with bath/shower, handbasin, w.c and electric wall heater.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other has two single beds. Sloping ceilings with plenty of beams, some quite low, so mind your head !

Foxglove Cottage enjoys a large garden which is shared by the owner’s house. There is a duck pond within the garden and care must be taken with small children who will enjoy feeding the ducks and moorhens.

Garden furniture is supplied so you can relax outside and enjoy the garden. There is ample room for parking two vehicles within the garden.

CYCLE HIRE is now available. Instead of going out in the car every day you can now have a relaxing time exploring the delightful back roads and lanes of the beautiful Suffolk countryside. 4 good quality bicycles and helmets are provided. Suggested cycle routes available.

• High season £390

Arrival after 3 pm.

The small market town of Harleston is only minutes away and the coastal resorts of Southwold, Walberswick and Dunwich are about 20 miles away. Framlingham Castle, Wingfield College and gardens, Thornham Walks are all close by.
