The Workshop at Lime Tree Farm - Framlingham, Suffolk, England

The attention to detail can be seen throughout the building and the positive feedback received from guests shows that guests appreciate the design and style at this self catering cottage!  Be inspired by the sliding/folding patio doors that lead from the oak deck into a large open plan living space where the focal point is a suspended spherical steel fireplace designed and made in France by Dominique Imbert.  Facing it there is a corner sofa/chaise longue where you can sit and look out on wonderful country views.  Other features of this special property include a large flat screen TV, DVD player and Sky Freesat.  Designer features include a side table designed by designer Eero Saarinen and a Tolomeo Mega floor lamp.  In the dining area there is a table and chairs created by the furniture designer Arne Jacobson in the 1950s, including four iconic 'series 7' chairs.  The kitchen is well equipped with a built-in Smeg cooker and a white stone surface with sleek grey units.

A curving white wall leads to the bedroom where there is a comfortable king size bed with crisp white 100% cotton linen.  Enjoy the meadow views from the double aspect windows.  In the spacious bathroom is a large double-ended bath (perfect for a relaxing soak a the end of a day), a WC and sink along with a large circular shower cubicle.

Outside the cottage there is a generous oak decking area which acts as a delightful suntrap in the summer.  The four patio doors slide back to extend the open plan living space to the outside.  The meadow and surrounding countryside gives this cottage a lovely setting and changes throughout the year - arrive in the late spring and it is likely to be awash with buttercups, in the autumn watch the friendly sheep and in winter time look out for moor hens and other wildlife.

The Workshop is well located for visiting the beautiful Suffolk Coast as well as being in an ideal position from which to discover East Suffolk’s pretty villages and charming market towns.  The cottage is located between Peasenhall and Badingham, approximately 4 miles from Framlingham, in the four acre grounds of a 16th century Suffolk farmhouse.
