Workhouse Cottage - Badingham, Suffolk, England

The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with small dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and small freezer.  There is a TV with freesat, DVD player and music system in the sitting room and a woodburning stove.  A supply of books, DVDs, CDs and games is available for your use.  Heating throughout the cottage is electric with a mixture of storage and instant thermostatically controlled electric heating.  There is a downstairs cloakroom with toilet, washbasin and storage space for coats and shoes.  Upstairs is a bathroom with toilet, bath and overhead shower.  The single and double bedrooms are adjoined by a spacious dressing room.

Recommended Places to Eat Out: There are recommendations from our guests in the visitors’ book! The White Horse in Badingham, The Royal Oak at Laxfield, The Queens Head at Dennington and The White Horse at Sibton are local pubs serving good food. Aldeburgh is famous for its fish and chips!

Badingham is a peaceful village close to the historic market town of Framlingham and numerous lovely Suffolk villages. The seaside town of Southwold is 17 miles north. Visit Minsmere nature reserve and the Suffolk coast.
