Everything has been provided for that perfect short break or longer stay. The comfortable living-room, with its cosy wood-burner and open plan staircase, has two sofas, one of which converts to a double bed, a television and a CD player. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer, washer-dryer and dishwasher, plus all cooking utensils, cutlery, crockery and glassware. The dining room has a farm-house style table, with seating for six, a welsh dresser and an open fire and is an ideal setting for that special evening. The garden has a barbeque area with a table and plenty of chairs and is a lovely spot for a picnic or just to relax in to the rippling sound of nearby streams. Up to 2 dogs welcome by arrangement.
The village of Roadwater is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty, characterised by deep wooded valleys, steep rolling hills and a spectacular coastline. Its location in Exmoor National Park, nearby to the Quantock Hills and at the midpoint of the Coleridge Way makes it a perfect area for outdoor pursuits, such as walking, cycling, fishing and horse-riding. Alternatively, if you want to enjoy beaches, the coast is just three miles away. The area has plenty of historical interest too, including the ancient port of Watchet and the mediaeval village of Dunster. And, if you fancy something totally different, you can always treat yourself to a nostalgic journey by steam train through the beautiful Somerset countryside. Up to 2 dogs welcome by arrangement. Lyndale's log fires, character dining room and local inn make it an ideal place to spend Christmas and the New Year. Also great for a half term or Easter break.
