Secret Garden - Bridgwater, Somerset, England

Cannington Grange is a private Victorian Country House, set in 3.5 acres of gardens - all accessed by our private road from the highway. There are a total of 8 cottages and apartments - of which two are one bedroomed - Secret Garden (described here) and Redfields (the first floor apartment - very similar but with a bathroom). There are great facilities at The Grange - an indoor heated pool, sauna & hot-tub, detached games cabin, family tennis court, half acre fishing pond, crocquet lawn, plus outside bbq's and play equipment. The area around Cannington offers lots of different options for days out or interesting places to visit - there are beaches, the moor, Quantock Hills AONB, Minehead, Dunster, plus plenty of attractions such as Wookey Hole, Cheddar Gorge, Glastonbury. For those with an interest in National Trust properties there are an abundance in the area, probably 8 or so within a 45 minute drive. If you cant bring yourself to leave our gardens, break up some bread and crackers and spend some time feeding our resident peahen, Purdey - she always likes visitors, particularily when they come equipped with bread!
