Cannington Grange - Bridgwater,Taunton, Somerset, England

The accomodation is very flexible, we can accomodate from 1 to 44 people (plus cots) using a combination of our 2 Halls, 3 Cottages or 3 Apartments. In brief, they are:

Ruscombe Hall (sleeps 10) available from May 2011.

Toad Hall (sleeps 8),

Shepherds Cottage (sleeps 7),

Lark Rise apartment (sleeps 6),

Honeycombe Cottage (sleeps 5),

Farthing Cottage (sleeps 4),

Secret Garden apartment (sleeps 2) & Redfields Apartment (sleeps 2).

Please note that our accomodation is within 8 individual properties all situated within the grounds or part of a private Victoriam Country House - we can accomodate 44 people in total but not in one property.

All of our accomodation can be booked singly or as part of a larger booking - do bear in mind that the gardens and facilities are available to all of our guests - we can offer exclusive use of The Grange to large groups where a combination of accomodation is booked - call us for details.

We are ideally located for all aspects of a family holiday or gathering. From the M5 junctions 23 or 24 it is approx 10 minutes drive to The Grange.

Staying at The Grange as a base is a fantastic idea - there are numerous beaches ranging from 15 to 35 minutes drive, many of somersets finest attractions are within easy reach (Cheddar Gorge / Wookey hole for instance, is about 30 minutes),

Minehead is about 40 minutes, with Dunster Castle a few minutes before. There is some great shopping - Clarks outlet Village at Street is approx 25 mins, Cribbs Causeway & Cabot Circus are both in nearby Bristol, and Exeter has recently undergone a massive development and transformation of the town centre.

Taunton - the County town, is about 15 mins away and offers a very good quality traditional High St. There is a surprisingly varied choice within the village of Cannington itself: the Walled Gardens are very relaxing, there is a Pitch & Putt and also 18 hole Golf Course, Paintballing, a vineyard, farmshop, and equestrian facilities, and numerous pubs, some of which do some very good food!

Located at the start of the Quantocks - englands first AONB. Lots of National Trust properties within easy drive, choice of beaches from 15 - 35 mins, proper village shops; bakery, butcher, newsagents, post office, spar, petrol station.

We are located on the coast road between Bridgwater and Minehead, on the very edge of Cannington village.
