Woodlands Farmhouse combines the heritage and charm of an historic old dairy farm with the style and chic of 21st Century living. It has seven bedrooms, (one of which is located on the ground floor and ideal for those who prefer not to use stairs) and sleeps 14 very comfortably.
The house was completely renovated and refurbished over two years using the finest craftsmen to restore features such as the inglenook fireplaces, old bread oven, original flagstones and large elm floorboards to name but a few. Whilst preserving the old, we have also added the style and comforts of 21st Century living, with luxuries such as the hot tub, cinema room, wet room showers and bespoke designer kitchen. Why not enjoy a tranquil countryside walk with your dog around the 100 acres of ours surrounding the house, before relaxing and unwinding in the massaging hot tub with a chilled glass of champagne. For the more active, the games room, kids play area and Nintendo Wii should keep even the most restless entertained. Either way, we have designed the house to cater to everyone's needs, from young to old, modern chic to classic elegance, to provide you with a truly memorable experience.
There are 7 unique bedrooms all of which are ensuite (2 with jack & jill shared access) that are individually styled and designed, from the stunning open plan bedroom with wet room to the elegantly finished four poster bedroom with original elm floor boards throughout the upstairs. The lightly styled downstairs bedroom with wet room provides ideal accommodation for elderly and walking impaired guests. All come equipped with fluffy white towels and toiletries.
The granite worksurfaces and bespoke designer kitchen/diner with aga provide the perfect setting for entertaining, whilst the library with original flagstone floors and the elegantly chic lounge reflect the heritage and style of this historic house.
The comtemporary cinema room with 50" TV, leather sofa and huge comfy swivel chairs provide an ideal lounging environment. For the more active, the games room, Nintendo Wii and kids play area should keep you entertained before relaxing in the massaging hot tub or enjoying a bbq in the courtyard patio area.
