Cottages with hot tubs in Bridgwater or Glastonbury
Rural retreats cottages in Bridgwater. The market town of Bridgwater sits on the edge of the Somerset Levels between the Mendip and Quantock Hills. Bridgwater retains a range of delightful period buildings and contains the Blake Museum, the Somerset Brick and Tile Museum and the Bridgewater Arts Centre, which offers a regular programme of music, theatre and dance.
The mystical magical own of Glastonbury lies 15 miles to the east of Bridgwater along the A39. Best known for its music festival and muddy fields of revellers, Glastonbury is the capital of New Age in the south west - an interesting town to visit with centuries of history and legend.
The Somerset coast is a close by and the seaside resort of Burnham-on-Sea offers miles of sandy beaches, great shoreline walks as well as a wide range of shops, pubs and restaurants. Enmore Park Golf Course provides local sporting opportunity. The local hills and levels provide superb walking and cycling opportunities for all levels of ability. We hope you have a great cottage holiday in Bridgwater or Glastonbury, or perhaps visit both during your self catering break in Somerset.
