Hideaways is furnished to a high standard of care and our priority is to provide clean and comfortable accommodation in which to enjoy a pleasant and tranquil holiday.

Inside Hideaways you will find:

Lounge/ Dining area,   TV/ DVD/ Radio/Stereo, a wide variety of books  & CD’s.

There is a new fitted kitchen which includes fridge, microwave/toaster, and washing machine. The modern bathroom has a bath/shower. There are two bedrooms one has a double bed and the second now has two single beds. The rear garden is private and has a back drop of beautiful trees with flower borders, and a picnic table. French doors open to a front garden and garden bench. The Brendon hills can be seen in the distance.

Enjoy spotting badgers from the back garden on summer evenings.

Hideaways is an excellent spot for badger watching. There are plenty of pheasants in the countryside around and the occasional fox. Squirrels frequent the garden. It's a lovely spot for anyone who would like a relaxing holiday in the country who would enjoy nature and plentiful wildlife.

Nearest Train Station or Airport: Under a mile walk from Hideaways to Blue Anchor Railway Station. Limited journey distance to Minehead and to Bishops Lydeard only.

Recommended Places to Visit: The seaside town of Minehead, West Somerset Steam Railway, historic Watchet - for marina, good restaurants and maritime museum. A visit to Tropiquaria if you love Meerkats! Tarr Steps nr Dulverton, Barnstable, Lynton & Lynmouth.

Annual Events: The magical experience of Dunster by Candlelight is on December 5th & 6th when the whole village is lit by candles and Christmas lights and all the shops & eateries are open. West Somerset Steam Railway hold many special events from Easter to Christmas.

Recommended Places to Eat Out: Within a short distance from Cleeve Park are The Smugglers Inn. Tea and meals and the Driftwood café, Binham Grange offers tea on the terrace and meals. Chives Cafe in Watchet is very popular with all our visitors. Many more restaurants and eateries in Minehead and Dunster.
