A country cottage for two that’s full of character. Located in the hamlet of Pant Glas, 2.5 miles from Oswestry in Shropshire, The Arch is a cosy detached cottage that is full of character. The cottage sleeps 2 people in comfort and has one king-size bedroom, a dressing room, and a family bathroom. The living accommodation is further comprised of a fitted kitchen and a sitting room incorporating dining area and furnished with an inviting open fire. There is a front garden with terraces, provided with furniture and a BBQ, as well as a small courtyard with a bench for seating. There is off road parking for 2 cars. The cottage is surrounded by listed parkland and provides excellent walking opportunities in a beautiful historic landscape close to both the Welsh border and to Offa’s Dyke Path. The local town of Oswestry is blessed with excellent restaurants and great little shops. The World Heritage Site of Ironbridge and the historic towns of Shrewsbury and Chester are also within easy reach. The Arch is a perfect base for a couple looking to explore Shropshire and beyond.

Full oil central heating, additional heating from a woodburner in the sitting room and open fire in bedroom. Combination microwave/oven/grill, two ring electric hob, refrigerator, shared use of owners' washing machine, dishwasher. TV with Freeview, DVD, radio/CD. Fuel, power and starter packs for open fire and woodburner included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. There is private parking space for 2 cars. Bike storage. Front garden area with terraces, furniture and barbecue. Small courtyard with bench. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops 2.5 miles. Pub 2 miles. Please Note: Owing to the age and character of the property there are slight differences in floor levels and one low door frame. Please Note: Babes in arms only. Shropshire is located next to Wales and shares a border with Powys. Reputed to be one of the most peaceful parts of England, Shropshire promises countryside galore to explore on a self catering holiday.

Pant Glas is a hamlet close to Oswestry in Shropshire. The town of Oswestry offers restaurants, shops, pubs and a hill top iron age fort. There are National Trust properties nearby and the town of Shrewsbury and the city of Chester are within driving distance.
