Oaktree Cottage at Briarhill Farm - Ightfield, Shropshire, England

Private garden and patio areas  with table and chairs plus a bbq. There is the option of hiring our indoor private hydrotherapy hot tub. The spa pool room is open from 1pm until 9pm with the period between 6-30pm and 9pm available to guests as a private session period (not shared). There is an extra charge for using this facility which is payable when booking.

Central heating, electric,  Wifi, bedding and towels included in the price. A welcome tray consisiting of milk, tea, sugar, our own free range eggs, fresh flowers and a home-made cake (weekly breaks only) awaits you. Our starter pack includes washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, toilet rolls, kitchen roll, soap, shower gel and hand creams.

The cottage is based on the Cheshire/Shropshire border, thus many attractions and National Trust houses. We have an award winning canalside village with its own boating marina, shops and tea-rooms and not forgetting the canalside walks. Beeston and Bickerton  hills with the famous Sandstone Trail are only a short distance away as well as three nature reserves and woods. We are central for Chester and the Potteries and also the welsh border.  For the bikers we have 6 country cycle routes, three golf courses and two indoor swimming pools close by.  For the fishermen we have a fishing pool with 18 species of fish open dawn-dusk at £6 a day (5 minute drive from cottage). Two very good eating pubs are within a 5 minute drive from the cottage as well as the local indian restaurant who will deliver food to the cottage door. We also have a tesco delivery service to the cottage. Please see our website for attractions and events on in our area.
