A Welsh country cottage in a delightful rural area. Located on a quiet caravan site in Powys, Wales, close to the English town of Bishops Castle, Clover Cottage is a welcoming detached property offering quality single storey adults-only accommodation.

The cottage can sleep up to 4 people and has 2 bedrooms: a double room with an en-suite basin and WC, and a second room, which can be presented as either a super king-size double or as a twin room. There is also a bathroom with a bath, a separate shower, a basin and WC. The living accommodation also includes a fitted kitchen and a comfortable sitting room with a dining area and a wood burner. The large lawned garden is well equipped for dining and relaxation and is provided with a hot tub, outdoor furniture and a barbeque. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome.  Off road parking is available for up to 3 cars. Guests at the cottage also benefit from use of the caravan site’s pitch and putt course and shop.

The shops, pubs and restaurants of Bishops Castle are an easy drive away, and there are fantastic places to visit in all directions, from Offa's Dyke, the Shropshire Way, and the South Shropshire Hills, to Ludlow, Shrewsbury, Stokesay Castle and the Ironbridge Gorge. Clover Cottage is a great base for a break at any time of year. (Please note this is an adult only property).

The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, flat screen TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi. Fuel, power and fuel for woodburner included in the rent.

Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Please bring own hot tub towels.

There is private parking space for 3 cars. Large enclosed front lawned garden with gravelled seating area, decking, garden furniture and barbecue. Private hot tub.

Lovely walks within the 7 acre park. Use of the park's pitch & putt. Two well behaved dogs are welcome. Shared use of dog walk/run in park. Sorry, no smoking. Use of on site shop. Bishops Castle's shops and pubs/restaurants 3 miles. Please Note: Three steps up from ground level to the front door. Please Note: This is an adults only property and park, no under 18s (including visitors).

If you are seeking somewhere tranquil and peaceful with plenty of green countryside to discover then Shropshire may appeal to you.  Outside of the towns and cities it should just be possible to discover places where the only sounds are bird song and the wind blowing through the trees.

Located just a few miles from the Welsh border in the South Shropshire Hills, Bishops Castle is a town with a rich heritage boasting a weekly market and a wide range of shops, cafes and restaurants and is well known for its annual Real Ale festival (and 2 local breweries) as well as numerous other events throughout the year. The town is an ideal base for walkers as it is close to the Welsh Marches and Offas Dyke which formed the ancient boundary between England and Wales, as well as being within close proximity of the delightful market towns of Shrewsbury and Ludlow.
