This beautiful, detached 4* holiday cottage is located on the lush Greetham Valley Estate. The cottage away is tucked away in a hidden valley, meaning it is perfect for a relaxing, secluded break.
Mill Cottage sleeps 5 + baby across three comfortable bedrooms. The lounge features a woodburning stove for cosy evenings, a TV with DVD player, a CD player and leather sofas. WiFi is available throughout the property. The cottage stays cosy and warm as it benefits from oil-fired central heating.
There is a large family bathroom on the first floor with a shower/bath, WC and wash basin, and a further WC and cloakroom is located downstairs.
The dining room has an oak table and comfortably seats 6 for a dinner party. The kitchen is well-equipped, and there is also a utility room for extra storage.
Outside, you will find an enclosed garden with a lawn. North Brook runs through the grounds; this is shallow but take care with younger children as there is no fence to stop them wandering in. Orchard trees provide beautiful scenery, and there is garden furniture and gravel standing with space for up to 4 cars.
Two well-behaved pets are more than welcome at Mill Cottage, but they must be kept on a lead when walking in the surrounding countryside as there is a huge amount of wildlife in this area: deer, badgers, rabbits foxes and myriad birds. We do, however, have a large private field where you can let your well-trained dogs off the lead for a good run.
Booking includes free use of 'the gym @ greetham valley,' free golf on the Par 3 Academy course, free fishing on Meg's Lake (carp, perch, tench and rudd) and Katie's Lake (rainbow and brown trout and carp), free petanque, plus discounted green fees on Greetham Valley's two main courses. Salmon fishing, archery and bowls are also available on-site.
Cottage guests will find a warm welcome, excellent food and a well stocked bar at Greetham Valley's Lounge Bar and restaurants just two minutes walk from the Cottage.
