(4 welcome) Primrose Hall is a Grade 2 listed building with a unique history having been built in 1860 as a Meeting Hall for The Primrose League, a Conservative Association which allowed women as members, decades before women had the vote. It has been lovingly converted by its present owners and is now a luxury 2 bedroom holiday cottage offering everything you need to make your visit special.
The village of Empingham is 5 miles from the A1, half way between London and York and in an area of oustanding beauty with Rutland Water just a walk away. For the more active....the Sailing Club, Waterports Centre, pay and play golf course, Cycle Hire shop and Fishing Lodge are all within 5 miles. For those who prefer a relaxing holiday....the magnificent Burghley House and, Barnsdale Gardens are also close by.
Primrose Hall is situated half way between the historic market towns of Stamford and Oakham, both havens for those wanting to shop. There are delightful coffee shops and excellent restaurants in both towns.

The cottage sleeps 4 with one double and one twin room. The kitchen is well-equipped and the living area is spacious, There are laundry facilities and all energy costs and linen are included. Each room has the exposed beams and there there are oak floors throughout. The whole building has been restored with sympathy and respect to its historic past.
Empingham is a very pretty village of stone and thatched cottages. It boasts a Pub serving hot food all day and a Shop which is open seven days a week.
