Fantastic 5 bedroom oak and glass contemporary house with river frontage - Drayton St. Leonard, Oxfordshire, England

A fantastic 5 bedroom oak and glass contemporary family house, 6 miles away from the centre of Oxford. Willowbeck was built 5 years ago and is in a small and friendly village close to oxford but accessible to London via the M40 motorway and other transport links.  The heart of the house is a vast double height room with a large dining table and a very comfortable sofa and a wood burning stove for those chilly nights. There is a wonderful glass and oak landing that runs the length of the house giving the it a feeling of both space and unity.  The double doors open to the front and the back. A one acre garden, mostly laid to lawn, to the rear of the house leads down to the lovely river where you can fish from the jetty or mess about on the rowing boat or paddle in the canoe. There is a vast deck where you can laze around on comfortable sun loungers or the kids play badminton or croquet, or charge around on an array of pedal cars/bicycles or the trampoline etc . A bbq is also suppiled.  It’s a great location for a peaceful summer break. The village has it's own pub/ restaurant with Thai food. The garden is set in one acre of garden leading down to the River Thame, with own private jetty and full mooring and fishing rights. We have a rowing boat and a canoe which we are more than happy for you to use, lots of games like badminton, croquet and a trampoline with a safety net. One master bedroom with a bath in the room, French windows opening onto a private balcony overlooking the river .Our daughter has a lovely bedroom with a great view to the river with an option of single bed, double bed or two twin beds. The boys have a great bedroom space with a mezzanine floor with 2 beds. Downstairs there is a single bedroom leading onto a funky shower room (no english waterworks here...it actually blasts water!), and another double bedroom. Drayton St Leonard is close to london by train and bus or 45 minutes away from west London by car via the M40 motorway. Wifi Internet conection, big flat screen televisions and a cupboard full of dvds.
