18th century spacious beamed cottage situated in the village of Oxton. The cottage sleeps 4 people + cot and comprises two ensuite bedrooms, lounge, study and a large dining kitchen. Furnished to a high standard, gas central heating, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer, electric oven, gas hob, gas bar-b-que, garden furniture.

There is a large garden and ample parking.

The cottage overlooks a grass paddock and farmland.

A visit to Southwell Minster is highly recommended. There are numerous places of interest to visit including the market town of Newark for a collection of antique shops and good restaurants, the city of Nottingham to tour the castle and perhaps visit the Robin Hood and Courts of Justice attractions. Nottingham is also wonderful for shopping.

Children always adore Sherwood Forest and the Robin Hood Visitor Centre.

Changeover Day: Flexible

Southwell Minster, NT Workhouse, Robin Hood Country, Antiques Fairs and some great value Car Boot sales. The cottage is within easy distance for a trip to Alton Towers, the Peak District, Derby and the East Midlands coast with Skegness and other seaisde resorts.

Travel: Newark and Nottingham Railway Stations

Good places to visit: Sherwood Forest, Nottingham, Clumber Park. Peak District is within easy distance.
