Goldfinch is one of three cottages in a courtyard setting enjoying a lovely rural countryside setting in the grounds of the owners' bed and breakfast near Northumberland's National Park and Hadrian's Wall. This cottage is located just 2.25 miles from Haydon Bridge. This country cottage sleeps two in one double bedroom. There is also a sitting room, kitchen and shower room offering comfortable self catering accommodation. The cottage has shared used of a large lawned area with garden seating and an attractive water feature. There is ample private parking provided. This rural cottage is well located for walking in the Northumberland countryside and for cycling, Route 72 cycle route runs nearby. Visit the Northumberland castles including Alnwick Castle and the beautiful Northumberland coastline. Goldfinch is ideal for rural romantic retreats but if you have a larger party, with its neighbouring cottages, Goldfinch can be booked with additional properties to accommodate up to 12 people in total.

Heating from electric radiators. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, refrigerator. TV with Freeview, DVD, selection of books. Fuel and power included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Cot and highchair on request. Ample off road parking. Enclosed shared lawned garden with furniture. Sorry, no pets and smoking. Bar in owners' B & B, shop 2.25 miles. Please Note: The owner's offer a meal service by prior arrangement. The market town of Haydon Bridge is set between Hexham and Haltwhistle on the edge of the Northumberland National Park. The town offers shops and pubs, plus there are wonderful walks close by. There are many attractions and places to visit in the area including Hadrian's Wall, Northumberland National Park and Alnwick Castle. There is something for everyone.
