The property sleeps up to 4 people and has one king-size double bedroom with a dressing room dressing room and en-suite bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. This could be the cottage you are seeking for that special romantic break. Also in the property are a well-equipped fitted kitchen and a sitting room with a double sofabed, a dining area and a warming woodburning stove. One well behaved dog is welcome to join you at the cottage. A patio area with outdoor furniture provides space for al fresco drinks or dining. There is roadside parking for two cars. It’s a great base for discovering the beautiful countryside being nestled in the foothills of The North Pennines with heather moorlands, fields of grazing cattle and sheep, streams and woodland all around. County Durham, the north Yorkshire Dales and Northumberland are all also ripe for exploration. Wayside Cottage is a lovely cottage in a wonderful area.

TV with Freeview, DVD, radio, stereo/CD, small library of books, DVDs and CDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburner included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Roadside parking for 2 cars. One well behaved dog is most welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 2 minutes' walk.
