Shellrig – sleeps 2 Shellrig is an ideal cottage for a couple desiring space and comfort whilst they experience all that Northumberland has to offer. Downstairs there is a large sitting room with a log fire; the adjoining kitchen/dining room opens onto a south facing terrace. Upstairs there is a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with a bath and power shower. The super king size zip link bed can be made up as a double or two singles. There is, as in all the cottages, a flat screen TV, DVD, CD player, radio and a large selection of good books, pictures prints and fabrics. This is a really special cottage for a couple wanting comfort, tranquility and style. Unlike most cottages for just two there is masses of room, making for a truly exceptional holiday retreat.

Swinney Cottage – sleeps 4 Swinney Cottage is an exceptionally comfortable, very spacious and stylish cottage. One enters through the large kitchen/dining room into the hall. There is a downstairs cloakroom and a very large elegant sitting room. French windows lead out from the sitting room to a terrace and lawns. Upstairs the double bedroom has a super king sized bed and an ensuite. There is also twin bedroom which can be made up with as a super king size double and an adjoining bathroom with a bath and power shower. This is a very elegant cottage with beautifully proportioned rooms…a superb base from which to explore the Northumbrian coast and countryside. Guests Office We have a fully equipped study for guests use with a computer and printer with broadband access. There is a desk and chair and comfortable seats and this room is available to adults who cannot avoid working on holiday or for those writing a novel or just escaping from family for a quiet hour! We have a small library of books full of local information to help you plan your days out. This is a great place to research details of places you may be visiting, finding out opening times and special seasonal events etc. There is a cloakroom in this area..
