Hot tubs are intended for adult use only and there are health consideration. Pregnant ladies should not use them, nor people with cardi ovascular disease. Alcohol and large communal hot tubs are not a good idea either. Holidaymakers are often requested to sign a disclaimer when booking a cottage with a hot tub although there really is little need if people behave sensibly.

Indulging in the soothing warm water of a hot tub is pleasurable for most and beats meeting people down at the local pub because it reduces inhibitions.
