The Bure Valley Narrow Gauge Railway winds through the countryside from Aylsham to Wroxham in the heart of the Norfolk Broads. From here you can hire boats and explore the lovely waterways of the Broads.

Aylsham is only 10 miles from the fine city of Norwich with its wonderful cathedral, ancient buildings, modern shopping malls and diverse restaurants. The Norman castle in the centre of Norwich houses a museum full of treasures and overlooks the colourful market place.  Aylsham is just 11 miles from the seaside resort of Cromer meaning that during a self catering cottage holiday in Aylsham you can enjoy both the beautiful Norfolk coast and country.
