Kew is a district in the west of London, most famous for the colourful acres of Kew Gardens where just about every plant, tree and shrub on earth is represented. Kew Gardens Underground Station is close the the Royal Botanic Gardens. The Underground is the best way of navigating around London to see all the attractions.

A place to stay in Kew is about as good as it gets in London. Kew is a leafy green suburb, safe, pleasant and near Richmond Park and Bushey park and Hampton Court Palace. The glamourous Westfield shopping Centre with designer outlets is at Shepherd's Bush, also part of west London.

The River Thames flows through Kew, walk the river path or catch the ferry into central London.

Visitor attractions on the west side of London include Hampton Court Palace, maze and gardens, Windsor Castle, Eton, Thorpe Park theme park for families. The west side of London is the more up market wealthier and safer part.
