Waltham on the Wolds is surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside and is situated in the picturesque Vale of Belvoir, six miles from Belvoir Castle, the magnificent home of the Duke and Duchess of Rutland.

The nearest town of Melton Mowbray is only 5 miles away and is a lively market town famous for its pork pies and Stilton cheese. Other towns include the beautiful historic town of Stamford which is approximately 20 miles away, and Grantham just 10 miles away, is famous for Isaac Newton and the birthplace of Margaret Thatcher.

Travel: Melton Mowbray station 5 miles, Grantham Station 10 miles. Nottingham East Midlands Airport 30 minutes drive.

Good places to visit: Rutland Water, National Space Centre, Leicester, Belvoir Castle, Twin Lakes Park for exciting new family year round entertainment just 4 miles away, Ragdale Hall Health Hydro for a spot of serious pampering, Lincoln Cathedral and the beautiful town of Stamford.

Annual Events: Belvoir Castle only 10 minutes away, with several events throughout the summer season and Burghley House, with the Burghley Horse Trials from 1-4th September.
