This holiday cottage has efficient gas central heating. In the kitchen there is a gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, colour TV with Freeview, DVD player, radio/CD player. Libraries of books, games and DVDs. All fuel and power included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Loading/unloading outside property, then roadside parking approx 20 yards away, with additional parking available on the sea front at £3.50 per 24 hours. Small courtyard sitting area to the front, patio with furniture to the rear. One well-behaved dog welcome at £10 per week. Sorry, no smoking. Shop, pub and seafront two minutes’ walk. Please Note: The property is accessed via steep concrete steps leading to the front courtyard. Kent is affectionately known as the Garden of England. Its history and heritage provide the region with a rich array of sightseeing possibilities, while the stunning choice of Blue Flag beaches offer the chance to enjoy the beautiful coastline.

Sometimes referred to as the "Pearl of Kent", the lively town of Whitstable dates back to before the Domesday Book and is home to a buzzing local museum and art gallery - hosting around six new exhibitions each year and boasting a wonderful coffee shop. Whitstable Castle dates back to the 1790s and hosts numerous events including a big May Day celebration with contributions from local musicians and artists. The town is also home to a small, independent brewery as well as a wide selection of nationally recognisable chains and local independent stores. The city of Canterbury - with its 6th Century cathedral - is just seven miles away whilst it is possible from nearby Herne Bay to see as far as Southend and the Isle of Sheppey.
