The cottage has efficient gas central heating throughout, additional heating from a woodburning stove in the sitting room. In the kitchen there is a gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher. TV with Freeview, DVD, selection of DVDs, games and books. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburning stove included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate on request. Roadside parking. Rear pebbled garden with deck area. One well behaved dog is most welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 5 minutes' walk. Kent is known as the Garden of England and is home to much beautiful countryside.  Kent though also has an expansive coastline with many seaside towns and a number of blue flag award winning beaches.  Also in Kent is Leeds Castle, the historical city of Canterbury and the grand spa town of Tunbridge Wells.

Sometimes referred to as the "Pearl of Kent", the lively town of Whitstable dates back to before the Domesday Book and is home to a buzzing local museum and art gallery - hosting around six new exhibitions each year and boasting a wonderful coffee shop. Whitstable Castle dates back to the 1790s and hosts numerous events including a big May Day celebration with contributions from local musicians and artists.
