Just footsteps from the beach, the Beach Retreat offers a getaway from it all holiday, offering uninterrupted sea views, beautiful walks and a place to really unwind.

The Beach Retreat is totally solar powered and we even have a mini wind turbine! You won't find any hi tech gadgets or a television as the art of conversation prevails here! Outside you will find a gas barbeque, table chairs and sunloungers. If the kids want to pitch a tent there is plenty of room.

It is fully equipped with a lovely comfy double bed ( with a memory foam matress) plus a sofa bed which sleeps 2. A 'bijou' kitchen with cooker, small fridge, shower in the main bedroom and a woodburning stove in the front lounge area for those cosy Winter nights.

Please note the WC is located in a cabin outside of the property with a chemical toilet.

The Isle of Wight is an interesting place to visit just off the south coast of England. It is a beautiful and scenic place to tour where nature thrives and the pace of life is slower. Visit Cowes, east Cowes, Gurnard, quiet unspoilt beaches.

Travel:

Good places to visit: Osborne House which belonged to Queen Victoria and Prince Albert still set with furnishings including the bed she died in. See the Swiss Cottage in the garden built as a playhouse for thir children. Picturesque gardens. Butterfly World. Carisbrooke Castle.

Annual Events: Cowes week.

Good places to eat: Murrays' Seafood Restaurant, Tonino's Italian Restaurant. Lots of other eateries for a different place to eat out when you want during your self-catering holiday in Cowes.
