Country living at its best where the pace of life is easy...... A delightful rustic barn in the tiny undiscovered hamlet of Newton St Margarets, beautiful in its idyllic simplicity. Truly wonderful views,fabulous timberwork and high quality furnishings give this barn a sense of style, comfort, light and space. A typically english cottage garden with lots of sunny spots for a quiet read evening drinks or simply sit and admire the views. The enchanting entrance hall/sitting area has original flagstone floor with large comfy sofa and piano.

Quirky Shepherds Hut in the garden sleeps extra 2 very cosy with woodburner great fun !

A cosy /chic sitting room has inglenook fireplace complete with woodburner (logs supplied),and an additional sofa bed ,fantastic views from three aspects. A real country style kitchen with simple free standing old pine cupboards, terracotta tiled floor, large oak table (seats 10), an oil fired rayburn - (wonderful for chilly evenings) and french door which look out over the Black Mountains, all the boring but necessary items like dishwasher, cooker, microwave etc., .

Upstairs, under sloping ceilings, the bedrooms are furnished in simple style with French wrought iron beds,crisp linen and towels. three bedrooms, one double ensuite bathroom with quality shower, and one double/family sleep up to five and additionally, a double bedroom on the gallery (not suitable for small children), plus main bathroom. New 2011 additional sleeping space in Shepherds in garden sleeps 2 very cosy with woodburner great fun !
