Little Canwood House is a new spacious self catering holiday cottage situated in heart of rolling countryside offering good views over the rural farmland of Herefordshire. This remote self-catering holiday cottage is place where you can find peace in the countryside. Recently refurbished, Little Canwood House, has been sympathetically restored to create a traditional yet modern feel,and the 5* Tourist Board rating offering luxury, self catering, accommodation suitable for couples, families and groups - sleeps 8. We also offer king-size bed with a Egyptian cotton bedlinen. WiFi Broadband Internet access available. The covered well in the kitchen is a very unusual special feature.  It is  a self catering holiday cottage situated in heart of rolling countryside offering beautiful views over the rural farmland of Herefordshire. Recently refurbished, Little Canwood House, has been sympathetically restored to create a traditional yet modern feel, offering 5 Star Tourist Board rated, self catering, accommodation suitable for families and groups- sleeps 8. Available for half terms and Easter.

Situated less than 15 minutes from Hereford City centre and approximately 20 minutes from the M50 motorway means that the accommodation is easily accessible. In addition, there are two stables, grazing and use of an indoor riding school which can be offered at an additional cost. The riding country is spectacularly beautiful with miles of bridle paths and quiet countryside lanes to take advantage of. Transport of horses can also be arranged

Large open plan kitchen The kitchen is light and airy with a handmade kitchen and granite tops. There is an Aga (please state whether or not you would like it lit), 1 full sized oven and one oven/microwave combo. There is also a larder fridge, an under counter freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. At one end of the kitchen is a sofa area with a television.

Living Room The living room is a good size with ample sofas. It is also very light and has doors leading out to the garden on two aspects. There is a wood burning stove which is allows you to open the doors therefore creating the effect of sitting in front of an open fire. A selection of games and DVDs are provided.

Hereford's picturesque Church Street with many interesting small shops specialising in quality goods leads up to the Cathedral Close surrounding the XI century Norman Cathedral and adjoining Mappa Mundi and Chained Library exhibition. Walk down to the riverbank, have a drink or eat overlooking the River Wye or walk along the banks to the open spaces of Bishops Meadow.

Hereford, as the livestock and agricultural centre for Herefordshire and neighbouring mid-Wales, is host to a livestock market every Wednesday. The pedestrianised open space of High Town at the centre of the city is a lively meeting place and shopping centre with monthly Farmers Markets.
